Meet the Team

Ben Oaks

DailyGiver is the natural intersection of two of Ben’s passions, social good and internet entrepreneurship.  Ben is an active part of both the New York City startup and non-profit scenes. He is a member of the Board of Directors for New York City Mission Society, a human services non-profit that makes a huge difference the in the lives of thousands of children in New York City. He is also a Co-Founder of MuCash, the innovative micropayment platform that powers DailyGiver.

 

Vinay Pai

Vinay is the technical brain behind DailyGiver, and the person to complain to if something on here doesn't work quite right. He is also the founder of MuCash, and is excited by the idea of using the micropayment platform he built to raise money for charity and further all kinds of great causes. Vinay brings a blend of academic and startup skills to the team with a PhD in Computer Science, and a stint as CTO of OkCupid from 2007 to 2010.

 

Alex Kim

Alex is currently the Lead Designer at Flavorpill, a local NYC company dedicated to curating the best in cultural information and news. Previously bred in the Bay Area as a visual designer, Alex ventured to NYC in the summer of 2010 to expand his experience with product development. Since then he's been involved in a more end-to-end role covering user testing to UI design and solving many problems in between.

 

Michael Dietze

Michael Dietze is sales and marketing leader with over 10 years experience working with Internet based solutions. He is currently a Senior Consultant at Windstream Hosted Solutions in the NYC market, where he leads all cloud and data center based projects.  Prior to joining Windstream Michael was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Datagram, a boutique NYC based ISP and hosting provider.  While there he was responsible for several new product initiatives that were designed specifically to fulfill the technology needs of his clients. Throughout his career, Michael has worked with companies that range from start-ups to Fortune 100’s. Prior to joining Datagram, Michael spent six years at Internap where he specialized in the financial and high-tech verticals.
